Pitch Your Startup to Investor Panel of VCs and Angels
Are you a tech startup looking to pitch your company in front of an audience and panel of expert VC and Angel judges? This is your chance. Meet, field questions, and get immediate feedback from investors. Our judges will come from a variety of industries - generalist as well as deep tech (AI, AR, Blockchain, Biotech, etc). Network with other investors and founders in the crowd. This event will have a special focus on Deep Tech startups, with 4-5 slots reserved for Deep Tech startups and 1-2 slots for Generalist, non-Deep Tech startups.

Raed A. Masri, a serial Canadian founder & YPO’er (with two 20x outcomes and 3 failures), turned VC and institutional LP.
In Canada, Raed was partially responsible for introducing new wireless policy, when he founded Jaguar Wireless, a qualified bidder in Canada’s national wireless auction in 2008 with a last bid of $213m. Later, Raed became responsible for bringing inflight internet across Canada when he founded SkySurf , the exclusive carrier for inflight communications, exiting to GoGo Inflight, the world’s largest inflight wi-fi provider.
In America, Raed became a VC and institutional LP when he was a key founding team member at Mubadala Ventures in San Francisco.
Raed holds an Engineering degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, an MBA from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY & Queen’s University in Kingston, ON. Raed continues to build bridges between Silicon Valley, the Middle East and Canada.A lifelong learner and developer of talent, Raed loves sharing wisdom among founders and he speaks regularly at numerous industry conferences.
Yanniv Dorone, Investor, AgFunder; PhD Candidate, Department of Plant Biology, Stanford University; 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30: Science & Healthcare Europe List
Yanniv Dorone is an Investor at AgFunder. As part of the investment team, he is responsible for sourcing foodtech and agtech deals as well as performing due diligence on select investment opportunities. In parallel, he is finishing his PhD at Stanford University, where he studies how seeds sense water during germination. Before that, he worked on multiple research projects spanning different areas of plant biology at Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, and at the Weizmann Institute of Science. His work earned him two prestigious fellowships at Stanford, and he was selected as an American Society of Plant Biologists scholar. In 2019, Yanniv made the Forbes 30 Under 30: Science and Healthcare Europe list.
Yanniv holds a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, to which he was admitted with the highly competitive “Normalien” fellowship. He was also part of Stanford’s accelerator program, Cardinal Ventures, and was selected to participate in the Ignite program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Allison Steitz, Investor, BlueRun Ventures; Advisory Board Member, Zoo Labs
Allison invests in seed and series A stage opportunities in frontier technologies (AI/ML, robotics, blockchain), enterprise saas, and digital health with BlueRun Ventures, a venture capital firm based in the Bay Area. Prior to BRV, Allison worked for Quona Capital, a venture capital firm focused on growth stage financial technology companies in Latin America, South and Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. She earned her BA in Mathematics and Political Science at Wellesley College. In her spare time, Allison volunteers with ZooLabs, an organization designed to accelerate the careers of burgeoning musicians and community organizers in the Bay Area.
Caroline Yeager, Investor, Vitalize VC (formerly IrishAngels Ventures), IrishAngels
Caroline is an Associate at IrishAngels and VitalizeVC, an early-stage angel group and venture fund based in Chicago, with additional offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Collectively, IrishAngels and VitalizeVC have invested in over 50 companies, deploying $40MM+ in capital. IrishAngels is affiliated with the University of Notre Dame though considers opportunities with or without a connection to the University. The team prides itself on high touch service to both investors and its portfolio company CEOs. Prior to joining IrishAngels/VitalizeVC, Caroline helped develop new businesses at GE Ventures in Menlo Park, CA. She received her bachelor's degree in math and psychology from Boston College and her Master's of Science in Management from the University of Notre Dame.
