EVRealities - Erika Barazza, Founder and CEO
EVRealities is a marketplace for News and Digital Publishers to connect with creators of 360 video and images, VR, and AR content. Publishers can hire a creator or license their high resolution 360 video and 360 image, 3D object and virtual reality assets by searching the global library of daily editorial stock and through daily curated content delivered directly to their inbox. High volume visual media content publishers - already subscribing to Getty Images, ShutterStock, and similar catalogues - can seamlessly integrate EVRealities to their daily critical toolset to simplify the aggregation and discovery of immersive media content.
7:30pm - 7:50pm: Augmented Reality and Computer Vision by 6D.AI
About 6D.ai:
Founded in 2017, 6D.ai was spun out from Oxford University’s Active Vision Lab, building APIs to help developers augment reality in ways that users would find meaningful, useful and exciting. The 6D.ai SDK uses a standard built-in smartphone camera to build a cloud-based, crowdsourced three-dimensional semantic map of the world all in real-time, in the background. The goal with the 6D.ai SDK is to enhance the AR apps you build, helping them interact with the world in a natural and realistic way.
7:50pm - 8:20pm: Augmented Reality and Deep Learning in the Architectural Design Process by HOK
Cesar Escalante and Alberto Tono - HOK
Cesar Escalante, design and technology manager, and Alberto Tono, research and development intern, will discuss ongoing research being carried out at HOK. The general ambition of the research is to apply machine learning techniques in the daily design and Building Information Models workflows. The main focus areas are daylight analyses, Augmented Reality and Mars exploration.
