Emil is an angel investor, software engineer and business strategist with 20 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and data science. Self-taught and with an outside-the-box mindset, he started his career developing search engine technologies at only 12 years old, had his first exit at 15 and later went on to be involved in numerous award-winning technologies, including “BeeScanning”, an AI-based beehive analysis solution, “CADESS Medical”, a prostate cancer grading technology, and “Apparatus”, one of the very first mobile games to gross $ 1 M USD.
Over just the past five years, Emil has had a critical role in over 50 applied artificial intelligence projects as investor, AI architect and/or advisor. His most recent endeavour is in a Silicon Valley-based “moral deep fakes” video technology company, where he is in charge of their experimental AI research. As an investor, Emil looks for solid teams and strong business cases, and is very skeptical of "breakthrough technologies".
Erin is a recognized expert in high-value applications for robotics. Over the past several years, she has worked to initiate the market appetite for telepresence robots, indoor mobile robots, robotic picking in warehouses, and long-range 3D cameras.
