  • Scott Beechuk - Partner, Norwest Venture Partners

    Scott Beechuk brings over 20 years of product management, engineering, and SaaS expertise to his role as a partner on the enterprise investment team at Norwest Venture Partners. Throughout his career, Scott served as Senior Vice President of Product at Salesforce, co-founded multiple companies and has served as an advisor and angel investor to several startups.

  • Brian Ma - Founder, Managing Partner Iterative Capital

    Brian is a three-time founder turned investor. He’s now Managing Partner at Iterative, which invests in early-stage companies and runs an accelerator focused on Southeast Asia. Brian was previously founder at Divvy Homes (backed by a16z, GIC, Caffeinated Capital, and Max Levchin), Weave (YC S14, acquired), and Decide (Series C company, acquired by eBay).

    David Segura is an accomplished Entrepreneur & Investor with experience in wide variety of industry verticals including Marketplaces, FinTech, and Consumer categories among others.

    David has developed a reputation for being a Founder Friendly investor who adds value to company operations. A cross selection of current investments include Eaze, Grove Collaborative, Hawthorne, Mogul, Peer5, and many more.

    David has also previously founded Giant Media, where he served as the CEO from inception through the acquisition. The company was an early Video Advertising exchange that included Toyota, American Express, L'Oreal, and Dollar Shave Club among others. Launched in 2009, Giant Media was successfully acquired in 2014 by Adknowledge, an AdTech platform funded by TPG, JMI, and Nokia.

    He is a proud graduate of the University of Chicago.

    Adam Simons is a Bay Area based investor, adviser, and business operator. Adam regularly works with companies at all phases of growth. Adam sits on several boards and regularly counsels teams on a variety of business issues. Companies that Adam works with or invests in include SipScience, Motherly, Nurture Life, Creos Group, Showerpill, Punch’d, Ledger, BrandLove, Folia Materials, SoundOut, Lucent Drinks, OneCulture Foods, Guzo, Stitched Insights, and KetoNatural Pet Food. The common thread is that Adam focuses heavily on the consumer vertical – products, services, and technologies. Adam is also a Venture Partner at Triphammer Ventures in New York and regularly works with several early stage consumer funds. Adam has experience in various types of transactions from service level partnerships to joint ventures to both buy and sell-side M&A. Throughout his career, Adam has had several other interesting jobs as well – he was most recently the Head of Emerging Brands at Clorox. He had responsibility for leading the strategy, operations, and P&L of a high growth part of the company's portfolio during 9 years at the company. In this capacity Adam was heavily involved in several significant transactions for the company. Before Clorox, Adam spent time at Diageo, Publicis, and Corporate Executive Board. He worked on the founding team of a full service marketing research firm based in Philadelphia. Adam has marketing, corporate strategy, and general management experience across a variety of industries such as hospitality, technology, health care, financial services, and consumer packaged goods. He’s led work at all levels of strategy from creative campaigns to business growth initiatives to corporate portfolio management. His work both in-house for corporations and, before that, in consulting has covered a broad array of business issues relating to marketing strategy, new product innovation, corporate growth strategy, financial investments, and mergers/acquisitions. Adam is regularly viewed as an industry expert in tools and approaches at the front end of innovation and he has a great passion for this space. He is a regular lecturer at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and at conference around the globe. Adam has an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His undergraduate degree is in Communication from Cornell University, where he graduated with honors. You may remember his high school, T.C. Williams in Alexandria, VA, from the movie Remember the Titans. He lives in Oakland, CA with his wife (an M&A partner at Goodwin) and two precocious kids who have developed a healthy disdain for distance learning.
