Tess Hau is an investor & advisor to high performing startups globally, blockchain cryptocurrency tech companies and extraordinary founders across the world. She was recognized by Thrive Global as one of the “Women to Watch”.
A respected leader and subject matter expert. She is sought after speaker, lecturer, and advisor on venture capital, startups, entrepreneurship, blockchain, strategy, Southeast Asia expansion and growth. She has been featured as both speaker and moderator on numerous VC and entrepreneurship panels.
Among her many roles: Founder of VC Fund and Tess Ventures; Venture Partner at Spike Ventures, a venture capital fund for alumni of Stanford University; and as a previous advisor to the Stanford Office of Technology Licensing, Tess was COO of GCBC Stanford Graduate School of Business, Chairwoman to a stealth startup. She also serves as Chief Ambassador - as was appointed by the Dean of Engineering - at the University of Waterloo.
Tess is an internationally recognized champion of health issues, women’s leadership, and diversity initiatives relating to gender and race. She is passionate about education, mentoring and developing women leaders, and connecting entrepreneurs across cultures.
Tess had multiple successful investments and exits through various entities before founding Tess Ventures. Examples include virtual reality, personalized medicine, construction tech, marketing automation, and others. Current investments include blockchain, IoT, privacy and security, and health care. Gwen is currently a Venture Partner at Fusion Fund, an early stage venture fund in Palo Alto, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Singularity University Ventures. Before joining Singularity University, Gwen was the Assistant Portfolio Manager at a technology focused hedge fund in San Francisco. Gwen spent eighteen years as a public equities analyst and portfolio manager, and started her career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs and an Associate at JPMorgan. She has been angel investing since 2012. She is a frequent speaker and judge at startup pitch contests.
Gayathri Radhakrishnan - Director Venture Capital, Micron's AI Fund
Gayathri Radhakrishnan is currently part of the investment team at Micron Ventures, investing from $100M AI fund. She invests in startups that are leveraging AI/ML to solve critical problems in the areas of Manufacturing, Healthcare, Automotive, AgTech and core AI technologies. She brings 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience across product management, product marketing, corporate strategy, M&A and venture investments in large Fortune 500 companies such as Dell and Corning and in startups.
